2022 has proven to be a year of tremendous growth for LCDA!
LCDA’s 7th Annual Board Leaders Convening, which kicked off October 24th in New York City, was a resounding success. The event was hosted by Morgan Stanley and Presented by KPMG, featuring a Fireside Chat with James P. Gorman, Chairman & CEO, Morgan Stanley. We convened more than 300 influencers, twice the number of the last in-person convening, two years ago. The agenda featured high caliber speakers and insightful panel discussions. Bar none, this was a first-rate networking experience with peers, as well as, search firms, private equity, and corporate partner executives.
We have built the largest, most powerful network of accomplished and respected Latinos at the pinnacle of corporate leadership and corporate governance. LCDA’s network has grown in numbers and influence. Plus, our membership doubled since we last met in person—eliminating the excuse that there is no qualified Latino talent.
As we continue to grow, LCDA is increasing its regional presence. Members asked to meet regionally as a vehicle to get better acquainted and promote one another. In response, we launched and held 12 Member Regional Networks in 2022 alone. These events were held in Los Angeles, CA; Oakland, CA; San Diego, CA; Denver, CO; Washington D.C.; Miami, FL; Tampa, FL; Chicago, IL; New York City, NY; Dallas, TX— and many more are to come. These member-led Regional Networks provide a valuable opportunity to connect LCDA Members and Partners.
Make no mistake, there is ample Latino talent. I am thrilled to continue seeing LCDA membership grow in numbers and board influence.
