LCDEF 2024 BOARDREADY INSTITUTE (BRI)
The Latino Corporate Directors Education Foundation (LCDEF) invites you to join us on March 21-22, 2024, in Boston, MA, for its first 2024 BoardReady Institute (BRI) of the year, hosted by Founding Diamond Partner KPMG.

- Thursday, March 21: BRI Core and BRINext Programming, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM at KPMG, Boston
- Thursday, March 21: BRI Reception, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Location TBD
- Friday, March 22: BRI Core and BRINext Programming, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM at KPMG, Boston

LCDA has contracted with the InterContinental Boston for a limited number of rooms at the exclusive rate of $299/night (plus tax). This rate is valid for March 19 - 24, 2024. The hotel is about a five to ten-minute walk from the KPMG Boston offices where the BRI sessions will be held.

CHOOSE THE BRI PROGRAM THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU
BRI offers LCDA members two concurrent program tracks: the BRI Core and the next-level BRINext.
BRI Core
The BRI Core program is targeted at members who have not completed board-ready programming or who are serving on their first private board. Provides hands-on preparation, high-quality governance content, coaching and board-level networking. It's designed to prepare highly credentialed executives and national leaders to be best positioned to serve as a vetted talent pool for corporate board service.
Sample BRI Core sessions include, but are not limited to:
- Corporate Boards 101: Board Fundamentals
- Navigating the Shift from Operational Management to Strategic Oversight
- Elevating Your Toolkit: Refining Your Board Value Proposition
- Learning from the Activist Investor Playbook to Make You a Better Director
Program Fees: BRI $3,000*
BRINext
BRINext is next level programming designed to take executives on a deeper dive in corporate governance education with a specific focus on being an effective board director at the committee level. This program is targeted at first-time directors and Executive Members who completed BRI Core programming in previous year(s) (or other board-readiness program through other sources).
Sample BRINext sessions include, but are not limited to:
- Navigating Board Committees: Balancing Stakeholder and Shareholder Interests
- Continuing Evolution of the Compensation and Human Capital Committee
- The Inquisitive Audit and Risk Committees – An Interactive Workshop
- Nomination and Governance Committee: More Important Than Ever
Members who register and attend the BRI session dates - March 21 - 22, will receive a certificate and be recognized for successfully completing the BRI corporate governance program.
CANCELLATION
If you are unable to attend the first 2024 BRI after registering, please contact Lisa Hodges at lhodges@latinocorporatedirectors.org to cancel and receive a refund. Event cancellations made AFTER March 1, 2024, will be subject to a cancellation fee of $200.
