LCDA Launches New Interactive Tool

to Track Latino Representation on

F1000 Boards

LCDA launched our Latino Board Tracker, the only publicly available resource for tracking Latinos on Fortune 1000 Corporate Boards.

Details on F1000 companies, their board size, and the number of Latino/as on each board are all readily available on the new Latino Board Tracker. Users can search by F1000 rank, company name, company headquarters location, and the number of Latino/as on each board. Presently, the tracker shows that only 25% of F1000 companies have Latinos on their boards and just 32 of those receive a gold star designation for having two or more Latinos. “LCDA is filling a gap with the Latino Board Tracker because reporting by race and ethnicity is currently not required of corporate boards,” said Esther Aguilera, CEO of LCDA. “This tool is a baseline; it is our hope that boards and directors will surface with additional information about current board composition that will enable the most accurate data available.”

The tracker is current as of December 31, 2019 and will be updated as new information is received. Share the link to the tracker with your companies and colleagues and encourage them to send us any updates they might have.

LDCA members should receive an email next week about how to login to our new member portal where they’ll be able to manage their profile and pay their membership dues.

LCDA President & CEO, Esther Aguilera, was pleased to speak as a panelist at the Hispanics In Energy 2020 Legislative Summit hosted by The American Petroleum Institute (API) in Washington, D.C. The panel, titled “Building A Hispanic Energy Executive Network of America” was moderated by LCDA member, Honorable Nelson A. Diaz.

LCDA President & CEO, Esther Aguilera, was honored to join a coalition of diverse executive and community leaders in support of Chicago City Council Resolution (R2020-167) to compliment HB 3394, state law that requires public corporations headquartered in Illinois to disclose the ethnicity, race and gender of their board of Directors.
