LCDA and McKinsey & Co. Hispanic and Latino Economic Forum (HLEF) Webinar:
The Great Breakup - Latinas in the Workplace and the Growing Executive Exodus
Women leaders are switching jobs at the highest rates we’ve ever seen, and ambitious young women are prepared to do the same. To make meaningful and sustainable progress toward gender equality, companies need to go beyond table stakes. That’s according to the latest Women in the Workplace report from McKinsey & Co., in partnership with LeanIn.org.
Now, companies are struggling to hold on to the relatively few women leaders they have. And all of these dynamics are even more pronounced for women of color. There are always winners and losers in the war for talent, and the stakes are higher than ever for companies that want to achieve gender equality.
What does this mean for Latina leaders? Latinas make up just 1.6% of senior executives in this country so this “Great Breakup” is sure to have an impact on the board pipeline. Join us for this session which will include a presentation of the research, followed by a panel of experts discussing how this will impact the boardroom and what companies need to do to foster current and future Latina leaders.
Panel Moderator: Ana Dutra, Co-Chair LCDEF Board; Director: Amyris Inc.; Carparts.com, Inc.; Pembina Pipeline Corp.
Panelists:
Shelly Aguilar Carlin, Executive Vice President, HR Policy Association
Martin Stier, SVP People Organization, Global Business Units and Functions, HP
Raquel Tamez, Chief Inclusion and Engagement Officer (CIEO), Charles River Associates (CRA)
TIME: 4:00 - 5:20 PM ET
LOCATION: This event will be online via Zoom webinar.
This is an LCDA member and partner exclusive. Members can register either through the LCDA Mighty Network Community or via links in emails about the event.
