NACD Northern California, in partnership with LCDA, is committed to form a community of directors who can share their experiences and connect on a personal basis.

National Coming Out Day is observed annually to celebrate coming out and to raise awareness of the LGBT community and civil rights movement.

Out Leadership’s research found that:

  • Only 41 Fortune 1000 companies (4.2%) and 113 Nasdaq-listed companies (2.4%) include LGBTQ+ in their definition of board diversity.
  • And out of the 5,670 board seats in the Fortune 500, only 26 are held by LGBTQ+ individuals (with several of those seats being held by the same people).

This event is hosted by LCDA Partner NACD Northern California Chapter in partnership with LCDA.

Featured Speakers: Fabrice C Houdart- Executive Director, Association of LGBTQ+ Corporate Directors
Audience: Experienced corporate directors and executives. All members are encouraged to attend.

Based on member feedback, this year, on the morning of October 25, before the traditional lunchtime opening of the Convening, LCDA will host peer networking opportunities where members will have the chance to connect with their peers by region and by member type.
