Goldman Sachs’ policy went into effect this month, requiring companies seeking an IPO to have at least one diverse board member, increasing to at least two during 2021, from “underrepresented groups” including gender, sexual orientation, race or ethnicity. Goldman Sachs (GS) is proactively supporting companies by identifying a slate of diverse candidates.
