A Powerful Start to the Year |

Welcome to the LCDA Quarterly Wrap-Up! This new format is designed to spotlight the incredible milestones and momentum building across our network—showcasing how our collective efforts are making a real difference. LCDA had a strong start to 2025, with our impact continuing to grow. During the first quarter of the year, we enhanced Member value through regional events, new partnerships, and expanded benefits that empower leaders and organizations.
To mark this momentum, we’re proud to debut "LCDA: A Decade of Impact", a milestone documentary capturing our journey and ongoing influence in shaping corporate governance. As Board Chair Jose R. Rodriguez notes, “It encapsulates our journey,” and President & CEO Ozzie Gromada Meza calls it “a roadmap for the future".

Advancing Boardroom Readiness Through CtBG Partnership
LCDA was recently invited to be part of the networking group Change the Board Game Coalition (CtBG), created to enhance the connection between board talent and opportunity. As part of this collaboration, we proudly supported Partner e.l.f. Beauty's commitment to sponsor 20 full scholarships for NACD’s 2025 Accelerate™ program. This program is designed to prepare high-potential candidates from historically underrepresented backgrounds for effective board service.

Key Collaboration: LCDA and 50/50 Women on Boards
LCDA recently supported the 50/50 Women on Boards initiative, now entering its third year of advancing women’s representation in the boardroom. While applications for the 2025 list are now closed, the forthcoming announcement will spotlight 50 board-ready women—offering national visibility, access to training, and exclusive networking opportunities. In previous years, several LCDA Members have been recognized, and we look forward to seeing our members featured again this year.
